Purchase of second franchise expands footprint in North Carolina
Holly Springs, NC – Greenscape, Inc. https://www.greenscapeinc.com/) announced its recent acquisition of the Weed Man lawn care franchise in Wilmington, North Carolina. The deal was finalized on January 3, 2011. This is Greenscape’s second Weed Man Franchise and expands its lawn care services into the southeastern area of the state.
“The Wilmington area has great potential for growth,” says Daniel Currin, president of Greenscape. “We felt this acquisition would be a good fit with our existing business model. Our plan is to double the size of this office over the next two to three years. Customers will continue to receive the same great service they have in the past under the expertise of Wilmington branch manager Matt Chaney.” Paul Brooks, VP of Lawn Care Services, is responsible at a corporate level for Weed Man and will oversee all franchise operations. Adds Currin, “We hope to provide additional support that will benefit current and new customers in the Wilmington market.”
